Yes, Bare&Sol Wilmington is one of the most convenient professional spray tan and sugaring studios for UNCW students and Wrightsville Beach regulars. We're right on South College Road, an easy drive from both campus and the beach.

With daily ocean and pool exposure, expect 5 to 7 days of strong color from a professionally applied spray tan. Saltwater, chlorine, and sun all accelerate fading, so the key is maintenance: rinse with fresh water after the beach, moisturize every night, avoid scrubbing your skin, and pat dry rather than rubbing with a towel. Clients who keep up with aftercare consistently report closer to 8 to 10 days of color even through beach weeks.

Wilmington's beach season effectively runs year-round, but the peak rush starts in March and April as spring events, UNCW activities, and early beach days kick off. For major events — including UNCW formals, weddings, and Azalea Festival season in the spring — we recommend booking one to two weeks in advance. Summer weekends fill fast, so online booking is your best tool.

Yes, our full sugaring menu is available at the Wilmington location — legs, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, and more. Sugaring is especially popular in coastal communities because the natural formula is gentler on sun-exposed skin and performs well in heat and humidity. Results last 3 to 4 weeks, which means fewer appointments during a busy beach summer.

We recommend booking ahead, especially during UNCW event season and summer beach weekends. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but same-week availability can be limited during peak periods.

Your membership credit(s) can be used towards our Signature Brazilian/Partial Bikini and/or full body Airbrush Tan OR use credit(s) towards any other services or combine them. Here are few examples of our members’ favorite combos: Signature Brazilian + Half Legs + Inner Thighs combo or Signature Brazilian + Underarm + Legs.

With our unique technique, your hair only needs to be 1/8′′ long (or the length of a grain of rice)! This is different than many other sugaring hair studios, which typically require at least 1/4”.

Individual results may differ, but for most, we recommend regular Brazilian twice per month / every other week for 6 months.

Refrain from shaving or other methods of hair removal about 5 days prior to your treatment. We also recommend avoiding sun tanning & intense exercise prior to your treatment, as this may heat up your skin and cause irritation.

Life happens, we get it. Any unused membership credits rollover for up to 90 days so they can be used later. Also, you can give membership credit for Signture Brazilian or Tan to your BFF, because everyone loves to glow. We allow gifting a service up to twice per year.
