What to Expect with
Sugaring and Airbrush Spray Tanning
More natural, better results
Sugaring vs. Waxing
Sugaring is a cleaner, gentler way to remove hair and offers far more benefits.
Sugaring
- 100% natural (sugar, lemon, water)
- Room temperature — no risk of burns
- Removed with the direction of hair growth (gentler)
- Fewer ingrowns
- Doesn’t stick to live skin cells → less irritation
- Hair grows back finer and more sparse with consistent treatments
Waxing
- Often contains resins, fragrances, and synthetic additives
- Applied hot — higher chance of irritation or burns
- Removed against hair growth (more painful)
- More ingrowns
- Adheres to skin → can cause redness and sensitivity
- Hair tends to grow back at the same thickness

- Arrive to your appointment with clean, dry skin, without any lotion or oils.
- Avoiding caffeine or stimulants at least 24 hours prior to sugaring.
- It's best to avoid sugaring during your menstrual cycle.
- Avoid heat, sweating, and workouts for 24 hours
- Keep skin clean, dry, and well-hydrated
- Skip exfoliation and active products for 48 hours
- Wear loose clothing to reduce friction
- Begin gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days to help prevent ingrowns
Airbrush Tanning vs. Tanning Beds
Airbrush Tanning
- Topical solution applied to skin that develops into color
- Does not accelerate aging; safe alternative for skin health
- Fully customizable (tone + depth)
- Instant glow, full color develops in 8–24 hours
- Professionally applied for streak-free results
Tanning Beds
- UV light stimulates melanin production
- Accelerates wrinkles, sunspots, and loss of elasticity
- Results vary by skin response
- Requires multiple sessions over time
- Can result in uneven or patchy tanning
