Yes — Bare&Sol Tuscaloosa is one of the closest professional sugaring and spray tan studios to UA. Whether you're prepping for game day, sorority events, formals, or just keeping up with your routine, we're here for it.
For a Saturday home game, we recommend booking your spray tan Thursday or Friday to allow the full color to develop and settle. Booking mid-week gives you the most flexibility and avoids the pre-game rush. Use our online booking tool to lock in your spot.
We do. Bare&Sol offers professional body sugaring for legs, underarms, bikini, and Brazilian services. Sugaring is a great alternative to waxing — especially in Alabama's humid summers — because it's gentler on skin and causes less irritation.
You can book both services, but we recommend scheduling your sugaring session first, then returning for your spray tan at least 24 hours later. This gives your skin time to recover and ensures the most even, long-lasting tan. Our team can help you plan the right order when you book.
Loose, dark clothing is your best friend post-tan. Alabama summers are hot and humid, which can affect how quickly your tan develops after the appointment. We recommend wearing loose-fitting dark clothing immediately after your tan, avoiding anything tight that might rub, and staying out of pools and the gym for at least the first 8 hours.

Your membership credit(s) can be used towards our Signature Brazilian/Partial Bikini and/or full body Airbrush Tan OR use credit(s) towards any other services or combine them. Here are few examples of our members’ favorite combos: Signature Brazilian + Half Legs + Inner Thighs combo or Signature Brazilian + Underarm + Legs.

With our unique technique, your hair only needs to be 1/8′′ long (or the length of a grain of rice)! This is different than many other sugaring hair studios, which typically require at least 1/4”.

Individual results may differ, but for most, we recommend regular Brazilian twice per month / every other week for 6 months.

Refrain from shaving or other methods of hair removal about 5 days prior to your treatment. We also recommend avoiding sun tanning & intense exercise prior to your treatment, as this may heat up your skin and cause irritation.

Life happens, we get it. Any unused membership credits rollover for up to 90 days so they can be used later. Also, you can give membership credit for Signture Brazilian or Tan to your BFF, because everyone loves to glow. We allow gifting a service up to twice per year.

We ask that you submit your request in writing to your local studio with a 30-day notice.
