Sugaring is a hair removal method that uses a natural paste made from sugar, lemon juice, and water. Unlike wax, which is applied hot and removed against the direction of hair growth, sugar paste is applied at body temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth. This causes significantly less breakage and irritation, and the all-natural formula is well-tolerated even by clients with sensitive skin.

Winter skin in the Midwest tends to be drier, which can affect how evenly a tan absorbs and how long it lasts. We recommend moisturizing consistently for several days before your appointment and exfoliating the day before to remove any dry patches. Staying hydrated inside and out will make a meaningful difference in how long your winter spray tan looks its best.

Yes. Many of our Overland Park clients maintain their year-round color through a Bare&Sol membership, which provides consistent access to spray tanning at a predictable monthly cost. Our memberships are especially popular with clients who want to stay tan through the long Kansas winter.

For routine appointments, a few days in advance is typically fine. For events — weddings, proms, reunions, or holidays — we recommend booking one to two weeks out. Kansas City's prom and wedding season in May and June is one of our busiest periods, so early booking is encouraged during that window.

Your membership credit(s) can be used towards our Signature Brazilian/Partial Bikini and/or full body Airbrush Tan OR use credit(s) towards any other services or combine them. Here are few examples of our members’ favorite combos: Signature Brazilian + Half Legs + Inner Thighs combo or Signature Brazilian + Underarm + Legs.

With our unique technique, your hair only needs to be 1/8′′ long (or the length of a grain of rice)! This is different than many other sugaring hair studios, which typically require at least 1/4”.

Individual results may differ, but for most, we recommend regular Brazilian twice per month / every other week for 6 months.

Refrain from shaving or other methods of hair removal about 5 days prior to your treatment. We also recommend avoiding sun tanning & intense exercise prior to your treatment, as this may heat up your skin and cause irritation.

Life happens, we get it. Any unused membership credits rollover for up to 90 days so they can be used later. Also, you can give membership credit for Signture Brazilian or Tan to your BFF, because everyone loves to glow. We allow gifting a service up to twice per year.
