Yes — Bare&Sol Chapel Hill is just off Elliott Road, making us one of the most accessible professional body sugaring and airbrush spray tan studios for students, faculty, and residents across Chapel Hill and Carrboro. We offer flexible booking and membership options that fit busy academic and professional schedules.

The Triangle's humidity — especially in summer — is something to plan around for spray tans. We recommend avoiding intense exercise or heavy sweating for the first 8 hours after your tan to let it fully develop. For sugaring, our natural paste handles humid conditions well and won't break down the way some waxes do in heat.

Definitely. Game days, graduation weekends, and spring formals are some of our busiest booking times. We recommend scheduling your spray tan 24 to 48 hours before your event — this gives the color time to fully develop and lets any bronzer wash away, leaving you with a natural, even glow.

Yes. Our Chapel Hill membership options are popular with students and locals who want consistent, low-maintenance results year-round. A membership gives you predictable monthly access to sugaring and tanning services at a reduced rate, with the flexibility to gift or roll over unused credits.

We offer a full sugaring menu at our Chapel Hill studio, including Signature Brazilian, bikini, legs, arms, underarms, and facial hair removal. Our unique technique requires hair to be just 1/8 inch long — shorter than most wax studios require — so you spend less time waiting to book your next appointment.

Your membership credit(s) can be used towards our Signature Brazilian/Partial Bikini and/or full body Airbrush Tan OR use credit(s) towards any other services or combine them. Here are few examples of our members’ favorite combos: Signature Brazilian + Half Legs + Inner Thighs combo or Signature Brazilian + Underarm + Legs.

With our unique technique, your hair only needs to be 1/8′′ long (or the length of a grain of rice)! This is different than many other sugaring hair studios, which typically require at least 1/4”.

Individual results may differ, but for most, we recommend regular Brazilian twice per month / every other week for 6 months.

Refrain from shaving or other methods of hair removal about 5 days prior to your treatment. We also recommend avoiding sun tanning & intense exercise prior to your treatment, as this may heat up your skin and cause irritation.

Life happens, we get it. Any unused membership credits rollover for up to 90 days so they can be used later. Also, you can give membership credit for Signture Brazilian or Tan to your BFF, because everyone loves to glow. We allow gifting a service up to twice per year.

We ask that you submit your request in writing to your local studio with a 30-day notice.
