Yes — Bare&Sol Hoover is close to the Galleria and easily accessible for shoppers and residents across south Birmingham. It's a quick stop before or after a Galleria trip, and our online booking makes it simple to plan ahead.

Our Hoover studio offers professional body sugaring — including legs, underarms, bikini, and Brazilian — as well as hand-applied airbrush spray tanning. Both services are available by appointment. You can book individual sessions or explore our membership options for regular clients at bareandsol.skin.

Let your hair grow to at least a quarter inch — about the length of a grain of rice. Avoid shaving, tweezing, or waxing for at least two to three weeks before your appointment. Come in with clean, dry skin and skip any oils, lotions, or deodorant in the areas you're having sugared.

A professional spray tan won't prevent you from enjoying Oak Mountain's trails, lake, and park amenities, but sweat and water will accelerate fading. Plan your spray tan appointment a day or two before any extended outdoor activity, moisturize well leading up to it, and know that post-tan moisturizing will be your best tool for extending the color afterward.

Yes — Bare&Sol memberships are one of the most popular ways our Hoover clients keep up with their routine. Your membership credit(s) can be used towards our Signature Brazilian/Partial Bikini and/or full body Airbrush Tan OR use credit(s) towards any other services or combine them. Here are few examples of our members’ favorite combos: Signature Brazilian + Half Legs + Inner Thighs combo or Signature Brazilian + Underarm + Legs.

With our unique technique, your hair only needs to be 1/8′′ long (or the length of a grain of rice)! This is different than many other sugaring hair studios, which typically require at least 1/4”.

Individual results may differ, but for most, we recommend regular Brazilian twice per month / every other week for 6 months.

Refrain from shaving or other methods of hair removal about 5 days prior to your treatment. We also recommend avoiding sun tanning & intense exercise prior to your treatment, as this may heat up your skin and cause irritation.

Life happens, we get it. Any unused membership credits rollover for up to 90 days so they can be used later. Also, you can give membership credit for Signture Brazilian or Tan to your BFF, because everyone loves to glow. We allow gifting a service up to twice per year.

We ask that you submit your request in writing to your local studio with a 30-day notice.
